FuelCell Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ:FCEL) plunged 20% to $1.20 on 8.46 million shares. The company announced today that it has priced an underwritten public offering of 24,000,000 shares of its common stock at a price to the public of $1.25 per share for gross proceeds of approximately $30.0 million. The net proceeds from the sale of the shares, after deducting the underwriters’ discounts and other estimated offering expenses payable by us, will be approximately $28.0 million.
Neuralstem, Inc. (AMEX:CUR) dropped 14.55% to $2.82 on 1.69 million shares. The company announced today that it has entered into definitive agreements to sell $10 million of units at $2.80 per unit in a registered-direct offering to institutional investors. The units consist of one share of common stock and 3/4 common stock purchase warrant.
