Breaking News: Nectar Selects Nexaira to Develop Leading Edge Wireless Network Management Solution
Nexaira Wireless Inc. is pleased to announce that Nectar Services Corp. ("Nectar"), a wholly owned subsidiary of Juma Technology Corp. (OTCBB: JUMT - News), has chosen Nexaira's firmware operating system, ("NexwareSM"), to develop a wireless network management solution for Nectar's enterprise customers.
Utilizing NexwareSM, Nectar intends to create a robust and scalable enterprise wireless network management platform to improve operational capabilities and availability while reducing costs for Nectar's enterprise customers. Nectar, a leading software firm specializing in IP communications and managed services, selected Nexaira to assist in developing the "Nectar Converged Management Platform."
We chose Nexaira because of their extensive knowledge in leveraging the speed, reliability and security of wireless networks to provide business class applications. Unlike other vendors, Nexaira developed its own architecture, operating system and user interface, allowing us to customize the application to meet the specific needs of our customers," said Anthony Servidio, Chairman and CEO of Juma Technology.
"Business network architecture is in the early stages of adoption of 3G and 4G technologies. Nexaira's wireless routing solutions are uniquely positioned to bridge the gap between wireline to wireless services and provide assurance business operations continue during wireline Network service interruptions," stated Carl Silva, Chief Scientist at Nexaira.
Nexaira's wireless 3G/4G routing architecture will be integrated with the Nectar Converged Management Platform to provide business customers with alternate network routing and/or network wireline bypass for provisioning, activation and maintenance of business customer telecommunication networks. Nectar intends to launch the service in August of 2010.
"We are looking forward to completing the modeling, testing and deployment phases of this relationship. Further, we look forward to identifying other business opportunities in which Nexaira solutions can be applied to other Juma/ Nectar business customer needs," added Mr. Servidio.
Nexaira's NexwareSM was selected because its business class features provide reliability, security and advanced management capability, bridging the gap between traditional wireline management systems with CLI and SSH as well as wireless management systems with Open Mobile Alliance Device Management (OMA-DM).
Bob Young, Executive Vice President of Business Development for Nexaira, noted, "We are delighted to have been chosen by Juma/ Nectar for their Nectar Converged Management Platform. We see this as yet another example of the many wireless business applications that leverage our proprietary architecture. I am confident that by working together we will be able to achieve the objectives of improved operational capabilities and availability while reducing costs for their customers."
Wireless market sector is set to DOUBLE in the coming 36 months
Demand for 3G and 4G wireless technology is going to be right up there with demand for high-speed Internet.
ABI Research forecasts that 3G wireless router segment will explode 55% by 2013. In that same timeframe, they project that the number of devices will grow fivefold reaching 6.8 million units.
That's very good news for NXWI and its shareholders. As the market grows, the share price swells.
Let's examine some of the other growth factors:
Wireless devices equipment market is expected to grow to $1.1 BILLION in 2012
Plus, in the security market where NXWI has planned expansion:
Wireless infrastructure and LAN security market is worth more than $8 BILLION worldwide
Wireless security market has grown more than 600% in the in less than a decade
Wireless is growing and is really just starting to get lift-much like broadband did after dialup and then DSL. The potential for growth in this market sector is tremendous.
The company is entering a new phase of market penetration now that their development efforts well under their belt. Recently, it was announced they've expanded into the Canadian market through a reseller agreement. Next step: worldwide. Every new announcement has a positive effect on the share price.
What sets NXWI apart from the competition is not only speed and reliability?but its ability to keep the world moving...
Retail establishments are a major market for NXWI. Most of them today are using landlines for sales and inventory for example. What happens when they're in the middle of a sale or processing inventory and their lines go down? Critical time is lost rebooting and sales are jeopardized.
NXWI's 3G and 4G wireless router technology changes all of that.
With the Nexaira wireless router in place right next to the retailer's landline, when the landline goes down, the wireless router kicks in and the retailer's system continues to work seamlessly-no downtime guaranteed.
Through an arrangement of carriers, IT resellers, wireless operators and distribution channels, Nexaira is providing cellular/wireless redundancy to the networks. Their 3G/4G wireless system provides virtually 100% uptime, assuring no delay in approvals, data transfer or streaming video. What'll appeal to the massive retailer market is its ease of plug and play. No complex installation. It's the most cost-effective business class router - and the fastest in the world
Nexaira has the world in the palm of their hand. Their Potential for growth is staggering!
