The chief executive of coal and iron ore miner London Mining has been digging deep to buy shares in the firm.
Chief executive Graeme Hossie paid more than £117,000 for 58,674 shares at 200p each. The purchase takes his stake to 2m shares.
Hossie co-founded London Mining in 2005 and since becoming chief executive last year has overseen growth and subsequent disposal of the firm's Brazilian operations and the expansion of iron and coal projects.
It now has iron ore operations in Sierra Leone, Saudi Arabia, Greenland and China and coal operations in Colombia.
