We've all heard the old Wall Street adage, "Sell in May and go away." Historically, the best time to be invested in the market is Nov. 1 through April 30, while the opposite is true of the time between May 1 and Oct. 31. And this summer could be particularly cruel to investors if we see (and I think we will) financial reform pass that is tougher than Wall Street is anticipating.

To help you get through the dog days of summer, I've put together a list of five stocks to sell now. These names are some of the worst out there, and they have no place in your portfolio. So be sure to sell them right away or, better yet, buy some put options and makesome money!
