Apollo Solar Energy Inc. (ASOE): Building the world's first 10 GW all solar city

Apollo Solar Energy Inc. (ASOE)

Apollo Solar Energy (OTCBB: ASOE) has the only two known Tellurium (Te) mines in the world. Tellurium, one of the nine rarest elements on earth, is the main element used to make Cadmium Telluride (CdTe) photovoltaic (PV) solar panels like the those made by First Solar (FSLR), Apollo Solar's biggest customer.
Apollo Solar recently announced their intent to build the world's first 10 GW all solar city. Given that no other company owns Te mines, we believe ASOE to be the only company able to achieve this task. ASOE recently filed an 8K with a new corporate presentation that will be of interest to the thousands of investment funds around the world looking to invest in alternative energy companies.

Apollo Solar is a company that unitl now has mined and refined Tellurium and sold it to solar panel manufacuters. In their latest press release they said they will enter the downstream pv solar industry. This means ASOE will begin producing their own solar panels. This move will change the dynamics of ASOE. An incredible growth opportunity exists here!

Everyone must read their 10K filed on March 31, 2010 and STAY TUNED!

Apollo Solar Energy News Highlights

The long-term corporate mission of Apollo Solar is to develop technologies and materials that can produce CdTe thin film solar panels with higher efficiency and cheaper costs, which the Company believes will make CdTe thin film solar power stations competitive with other commercial power stations. If these developments are successful, Apollo Solar expects to become a major supplier of tellurium (Te) and tellurium-based compounds to companies throughout the world.

Apollo Solar also plans to expand its business in the downstream solar photovoltaic (PV) industry, by acquiring thin film solar panels through OEM business partnerships with existing thin film solar panel manufacturers, for its anticipated solar energy farm project with the Ningguo City government, Anhui Province, China. As Apollo Solar previously disclosed, it entered into a non-binding Letter of Intent with the Ningguo City government pursuant to which Apollo Solar may have an opportunity to build a 10 GW grid-connected solar power station within the next -six to eight years. Apollo Solar Energy (ASOE) has signed a non- binding Letter of Intent with the Ningguo City Municipal Government to enter into a future joint venture that would build and operate the Ningguo-Apollo Solar Energy Community (an $8.5- $14 Billion project), to be located in Anhui Province, China. This project will make Ningguo the first city in China to use solar energy as its primary source, integrating modern environmentally friendly and efficient solar energy, to realize the goal of creating a zero- emission city in China.

ASOE Key Points

- ASOE is set to capitalize on a new market trend, whereby most nations and governments are subsidizing companies putting forth solutions eliminating carbon dependency. The best example of such incentives would be the German model for solar energy stimulus packages. So successful was this model, that multiple governments are imitating the model. One country, whereby the model will prove most successful and most beneficial is China, wherein ASOE has already commenced capitalizing on the Chinese market.
- President Obama and the US government are providing strong opportunities for companies such as ASOE.
About ASOE:

Apollo Solar Energy, is a vertically integrated miner, and refiner of tellurium (Te) and high-purity tellurium based metals for the thin film solar energy market. Apollo Solar Energy operates through its three wholly owned China-based subsidiaries -- Sichuan Apollo Solar Science&Technology Co., Ltd, Sichuan Xinlong Tellurium Industry&Technique Co., Ltd. and Sichuan Xinlong Shimian Dadu River Mining&Metallurgy Co., Ltd.

Their main expertise is in the production of Te-based compounds used to produce thin-film solar cells, cell modules and solar electronic products. The tellurium used in their products will be primarily sourced from our wholly-owned Dashuigou and Majiagou mines located in Sichuan Province, China.

The Company is the exclusive owner of the world's only known mines in which tellurium, one of the ninth rarest elements on the earth, is the primary commodity of economic interest. Plus the fact that they are permitted and capable to mine tellurium enables them to provide our customers with a significant lower price, given that their cost is significantly lower than that of competitors. As of right now, the majority of Apollo’s property remain unexplored and are believed to have additional concentrations of tellurium consistent with existing resources.
