AURA Systems Inc, (OTCBB)

AURA Systems Inc.

Aura Systems Inc. (“Aura”) is a technology company headquartered in El Segundo, California specializing in axial flux induction machines applications for Mobile Power Generation and Electric Motors. The Company is listed on the OTC bulletin Board under the symbol AUSI. The Company designs, assembles and sells the AuraGen/VIPER (VIPER is the name used by the US Military), their patented, integrated, mobile power generator and power management system that installs in a motor vehicle and delivers on-location, both AC and DC electricity for any end user including industrial, commercial, recreational and military applications. It is now accepted knowledge that an axial flux machine can generate substantially more energy density than radial designs (2.5-4 times more energy density).

This advantage in energy density, allows for packaging that is smaller, lighter and in large volume significantly cheaper than comparable conventional machines. Compared to the traditional solutions addressing the multi-billion on-site power market, the AuraGen/VIPER uniquely and conveniently provides electricity with more reliability, more efficiently, more flexibility, and more environmentally friendly at a competitive cost. The AuraGen/VIPER development is the result of 10 years of R &D.

This is one corporation that at current value, investors should consider buying these shares and holding. At current values, the share prices can only go in one direction, north!
Aura Completes 10 Oasis All-Electric Transport Refrigeration Systems for Kraft Food

EL SEGUNDO, Calif.--Aura Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: AUSI) announced today that it completed the installation of ten all electric Oasis transport refrigeration unit (TRU) for Kraft Food (NYSE: KFT).

The Oasis all-electric transport refrigeration system is composed of the all-electric refrigeration system that provides the equivalent of 20,000 BTU per hour (1 BTU= .293 Watt-hours) cooling, airflow of 1,700 Cubic Feet per Minute (“CFM”). It incorporates a 3.5 HP Copland Scroll Compressor that is electrically powered like your home refrigerator. The system is powered by the AuraGen mobile power solution.

Dr. Arthur Schwartz, Aura’s CTO, said, “One of the great challenges of all electric refrigeration is the ability to provide enough starting power for the compressor. Typically a 3.5 HP compressor could require over 17 HP of starting power. The technical beauty of the AuraGen solution is the ability to start these inductive loads and absorb the large power spikes caused by switching the compressor without affecting the drivability of the vehicle. The AuraGen ICS solution is capable of providing power for these spikes safely from internal energy storage rather than from the truck’s engine.”

Mr. Melvin Gagerman, Aura’s CEO said, “The Kraft order represents an important milestone for our Oasis All-Electric transport refrigeration solution. Together with recent deliveries of Oasis systems to customers of Ryder (NYSE:R), we have taken a small step in the fleet market acceptance process, to an industry that is looking for innovative solutions. The AuraGen based Oasis not only provides the end users with significant monthly operating savings due to the elimination of the small Diesel engine used to run the refrigeration compressor and the required fuel for such an extra engine, but also eliminates toxic emissions generated from these Diesel engines. In particular, the new California Air Resource Board (“CARB”) regulations for Diesel based Transport refrigeration units (“TRU”) are expected to go into effect this month. These new regulations, in addition to the much tighter allowed emissions from Diesel engines used for TRU, also require all users of TRUs in the state to register their systems with CARB and provide periodic operating reports. These new regulations do not apply to the Oasis system since there is no Diesel engine involved and therefore Oasis users are exempt from such regulations.”
