AFTC Awarded New Phase 1 U.S. Army Contract

Take a look at the chart: http://bigcharts.marketwatch.com/quickchart/quickchart.asp?symb=aftc&sid=0&o_symb=aftc . Now it's pulled back to an attractive level once again. The chart shows that AFTC is making a round turn back up, this could be the start of a possible rally!!

Just today, AFTC was awarded New Phase 1 U.S Army Contract!! This is huge news.

"This latest contract was awarded to the Company because of our extensive experience with this type of fuel injection system," said James McCandless, Chief Executive Officer of Alternative Fuel Technologies, Inc.

Since Summer AFTC has received numerous contracts and orders for their fuel pump system.

AFTC is involved with something that is gaining attraction all over.

This is the new age of energy. Alternative energy is being supported by governments worldwide.

Our planet is overheating at an alarming rate and this is causing a great deal of harm.

If we don't start looking towards long term alternative fuel solutions now, it will just be much more difficult and expensive later when we are forced to.

AFTC is not only gaining interest from the U.S. Army but also countries throughout the world. Huge countries like China!

Major car companies are also interested in AFTC!

AFTC is involved with a new ultra clean fuel replacement called DiMethyl Ether (DME).

It has been said that DiMethyl Ether could be the fuel of the future!

AFTC has developed a common rail fuel injection system for DiMethyl Ether that is reliable, low cost, and can be retrofitted to most modern diesel engines.

AFTC is positioning themselves to be a leader in the DiMethyl Ether Fuel System market!

DiMethyl Ether is a new ultra-clean diesel fuel replacement that can be produced from abundant resources. These include natural gas, landfill methane, coal and biomass.

DiMethyl Ether will reduce dependence on petroleum, significantly reduce vehicle emissions and lower green house gas emissions.

When burned in a diesel engine, all soot emissions are eliminated and NOx emissions are lowered dramatically without the use of expensive exhaust after treatment devices.

AFTC has been competitively selected for negotiation and possible award by the United States Army for a Phase 2 SBIR project!

The Phase 2 project is an extension of a successful Phase 1 project where AFTC identified a significant wear problem on a commercial diesel common rail fuel injection system running on JP-8 jet fuel.

The Army uses JP-8 jet fuel in all of its diesel applications for logistics reasons.

In the Phase 2 project, AFTC will redesign the commercial diesel common rail pump to lower wear to acceptable levels.

Governments in China, Japan, Korea, and many parts of Europe are investing heavily in DiMethyl Ether plants and research.

Just last December, AFTC announced that they have received an order from Shanghai Diesel Engine Company, a leading manufacturer of diesel engines in the People's Republic of China for twelve dimethyl ether (DME) fuel feed pumps.

Shanghai Diesel indicated the majority of the pumps will be used on DME-fueled buses operating in Shanghai, the nation's largest center of finance, commerce and transportation. The pumps are scheduled for deliveries over the next 90 to 120 days.

AFTC's ultimate goal is series production of DiMethyl Ether fuel systems for the global automotive market by 2011!

Volvo already has six DiMethyl Ether fuel systems and has been using AFTC fuel systems in field demonstrations and in laboratory research since 1995!
