AEXP - Natural Gas Stock On The Move!

3 Reasons Why American Exploration Corp., (OTC. BB: AEXP)
is Worth Looking At to Begin 2010.

1)Exxon just paid $31 billion to expand its natural gas business.
2)A look-a-like natural gas lease recently sold for $2.8 billion.
3)Data from a 1981 well Chevron drilled to 22,000 feet, confirms American Exploration Corp., (OTC.BB: AEXP) has up to 2 trillion cubic feet of natural gas.

Dear Investor:

The Haynesville Shale in north west Louisiana is America's biggest on-shore natural gas resource and the fourth largest in the entire world!

Back in 1981, Chevron drilled an exploratory well 22,000 feet into the Haynesville Shale that confirmed a porosity of 3% to11%, some 300Bcf/section, and the promise of some 2 Tcf of gas in place.

Chevron knew then that there was an incredible amount of natural gas there. But the extreme depth, the fact that it was trapped in shale, and the abundance then, of cheap oil, made development unprofitable.

Fast forward:

  • The world now, is running short of crude oil and badly in need of a backup fuel. As T. Boone Pickens points out: "Iran is changing its cars to natural gas. . .to use less oil so it can sell it to us for $120 a barrel. We can switch our cars to natural gas and stop sending our dollars to foreign countries."
  • The threat of global warming has created enormous world pressure to switch to cleaner-burning fuels like natural gas.
  • Incredible new technologies make it now possible, and cost-effective, to not only drill to 25,000 feet or more, but to fracture and heat the shale at that depth to cost-effectively recover trillions of cubic feet of natural gas.

Suddenly, the vast, undeveloped gas fields of the Haynesville shale are in play.

Exxon just did a $31 billion deal to acquire natural gas producer XTO.

Encana recently paid $2.8 billion for natural gas leases in the Haynesville shale area.

In 2008, American Exploration (AEXP) spotted a 1980's-era price tag on a forgotten natural gas lease in the Haynesville Shale and negotiated a deal for the 5,000-acres that included Chevron's early drill site.

Being first to the party, American Exploration Corporation (OTC.BB: AEXP)was able to lock up what is a prize target in the entire Haynesville target, the 5,000 acres for which Chevron's 1981 test well had indicated the presence of as much as 2 trillion cubic feet of natural gas!

In effect, American Exploration believes it has managed to leap-frog over the unusual risks of exploration. Chevron did the initial work in 1981 and walked away. And now that research belongs to this tiny company.

Existing well data, an updated geophysical assessment, and new shale gas analysis completed by Schlumberger, confirms estimated gas in place of at least 300 Bcf/section within their 5,000 net acres of the Haynesville Shale formation.

That translates to more than 2 TCF of estimated gas in just the 5,000 acres of American Exploration lands and does not include the potential gas in place on an additional 8,225 net acres that Mainland Resources has since contributed to the project area.

But wait. . .this story is just beginning to get interesting.

As you probably know, the Guggenheim name is synonymous with old money. Lots and lots of old money. Meyer Guggenheim, a Swiss Jew who immigrated to the United States in 1847, created the family fortune investing in railroad stocks. By the early 1900s they were the second wealthiest family in America.

Today, Guggenheim Partners, LLC is a global, independent, privately held, diversified financial services firm with more than $100 billion in assets under supervision. The Guggenheims enjoy a stellar reputation for success.

Guggenheim has signed an agreement instead to participate in the drilling and development of American Exploration's 5,000 acre Haynesville lease!

What do the folks at Guggenheim Energy Opportunities know about their new partner, American Exploration Corp (OTC.BB: AEXP) and its lease in the Haynesville Shale that you probably don't know, but probably should?

Plenty! And I'll be more than happy to give you the compelling details when you click on the link below.

Who am I and why should you heed what I have to say?

My name is James Rapholz. I'm the publisher and editor of ECONOMIC ADVICE, a highly-regarded investment advisory that focuses on stocks of still-undiscovered energy and natural resource companies.

My passion is finding still-undiscovered natural resources stocks that, because of some peculiar situation, as is the case with American Exploration, are poised to become household names.

Nothing gives me more of a kick than uncovering a story like the one you're about to read (when most of Wall Street still doesn't have a clue) getting out the word, and then watching in complete satisfaction as readers appreciate my advice.

Why should you pay any heed to what I report?

Why should you consider investing some of your hard-earned money in American Exploration(OTC.BB: AEXP)?

Clean-burning natural gas will play an increasingly important role in the fight against global warming. It's on the cusp of repowering the world.
