NEW PICK-Tactical Air Defense Services, Inc TADF !!!

Tactical Air Defense ServicesAt under $0.03 a share, TADF is incredibly undervalued right now. It looks like it's just starting to see heavy buying, which should show us some BIG gains over the next few trading days.

Tactical Air Defense Services, Inc. is a specialty aerial support services company, that offers consulting and training services in air combat, mid-air refueling, ground-threat support, and aerial fire-fighting to the United States as well as other federal and state agencies, and foreign militaries.

TADF already has a successful history of receiving and executing Aerospace/Defense services contracts awarded by the U.S. Government, (More on this in just a second) but first, a quick background on how much money is in private defense contracts, and what the near term holds for companies like TADF.

Industry: Private Defense Contractors.

The U.S. Government is spending like CRAZY on defense contracting, and it doesn't look like it's slowing down any time soon. The DOD (Department of Defense) awarded over $1.3 Trillion dollars in contracts between 2002 and 2006. In 2006 alone the DOD awarded
$311 Billion in contracts alone.

In 2007 the overall Defense budget in the US was $439.3 Billion, an increase of nearly 48% in just 6 years!

Think this is changing with the new administration? Think again.

The Obama administration is increasing the already large U.S. Defense Department budget to a WHOPPING $708 Billion for the fiscal year of 2011, a new record!

Since the announcement of the 2011 defense budget on February 1 st, the SPADE defense Index rose by 4.46% in February and an additional 4% in March, representing a nearly 9% increase in less than 2 months! (240 points better than the broader markets)

Defense stocks are hot right now, and at the end of 2009 moving into 2010, Homeland Security stocks, and defense stocks have again garnered lots of attention regarding recent airport security incidents.

Analysts are projecting defense stocks to continually grow over the next 3 to 5 years, primarily due to the record 2011 U.S. Defense Department budget exceeding $700 Billions Dollars! (Representing an increase of nearly 76% over the last 5 years.)

In December of 2009, in an annoucment regarding Obama's Afghan surge, the administration announced that moving forward 50 -55% of the total military workforce in Afghanistan will be private contractors!

Aerospace defense contractors like TDAF (with established track records of successfully executed government contracts) are expected to reap the benefits of future government spending in defense.

Now, why do I like TDAF?

TDAF is made up of military, ex-military and aviation personnel to operate its specialty aerial support services, and is licensed with the ATF, which enables the company to import, own, and operate military aircraft as a private-sector company.

TDAF was actually the FIRST private-sector defense contractor to receive certification and clearance form the U.S. government to provide complete aerial support services!

TDAF is already positioned as a leader in the rapidly growing industry of government outsourcing of aerospace/defense services to the private sector!

They are a 'step ahead' of the competition, and have already proven the ability to execute. This is not a ground floor company that has to prove itself. TDAF has done that, and growth is the next step for TDAF.

TDAF has a proven track record and a successful history of receiving and executing Aerospace/Defense services including:

  • 2002 - TDAF becomes the FIRST commercial company to provide Tactical Fighter Support to the Royal Canadian Air Force.
  • 2003 - TDAF is the first commercial company to be given approval from the U.S. Department of state to provide a first test-trial of F-16 Operational Detachment Support training for the Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF) pilots
  • 2004 - TDAF receives approval for a second test-trial by the U.S Department of state to provide F-16 Operational Detachment Support . A 3 month training exercise that was the longest period in which the RNLAF had ever conducted training inside the United States.
  • 2005 - 2007 TDAF acquires the assets of Aerogroup, and is awarded a contract from the United Kingdom Royal Air Force (RAF) to provide ground handling and maintenance support for UK - AWACS aircraft at Shaw AFB, and the Beaufort, S.C. USMC base.
  • 2007 - awarded a contract through the U.S. Army to provide pilot training and other aircraft services.
  • 2007 - TDAF executes an exclusive lease arrangement to leas the ONLY Soviet ILyushin IL-78 Super-Tanker aircraft available in the United States!
  • 2008 - 2009 TADF is awarded a contract through the U.S. Air Force to provide pilot training to the Belgian Air Force.
  • 2009 - TADF is awarded a commercial contract to deploy it's ILyushin IL - 78 Super-Tanker aircraft to the Middle-East to provide Air-to-Air refueling research and development services.

As you can see this is NOT the track record of a 'typical' company trading at $0.02 a share! I expect that this will be the last time we will be able to pick up TDAF at such a low price. There's only so long a company with this kind of track record (as well as upcoming news below) can continue to be "under the radar."

Recent partnership announced with Tac-Air:

TADF recently announced a partnership with Tactical Air Support, Inc. (Tac-Air) to jointly pursue F-16 air combat and maintenance contracts with U.S and foreign militaries.

Tac-Air is a privately held Aerospace/Defense Services contractor founded by former Navy, Marine, and Air Force School instructors, and has won and successfully executed multiple Aerospace/Defense contracts under the U.S Department of Defense.

This is just another 'arrow in the quiver' for TADF.

This is a very smart move. To join forces with a successful, privately held company and utilize their expertise to profit. Rather than compete for contracts, TADF recognizes that a joint partnership represents a better opportunity for revenue growth than direct competition with Tac-Air.

The partnership with Tac-Air is expected to greatly enhance TADF's ability to pursue and win Aerospace/Defense service contracts.
