Today's Big Losers (SWI, CASB, MTSN, NFLX)

SolarWinds, Inc. (NYSE:SWI) plunged 21.43% to $9.93 and made a new 52-week low of $12.65 after it forecast third-quarter results below Wall Street estimates hurt by lower sales to the U.S. government and weakness in Europe
Cascade Financial Corporation (NASDAQ:CASB) also fell 17.65% to $0.420 with over 230K shares after the company posted a second-quarter loss of $2.02 a share, which includes accruals for preferred stock dividends and accretion of the issuance discount on preferred stock issued to the Treasury Department. The average daily share volume for Cascade is 141,000.
Mattson Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ:MTSN) fell 14.21% to $3.14 with over 1.13 million shares. Mattson Technology, Inc. (Mattson) designs, manufactures, and markets semiconductor wafer processing equipment used in the fabrication of integrated circuits (ICs or chips).
Netflix, Inc. (NASDAQ:NFLX) slid 10.50% to $107.15 following the company’s second quarter earnings report. The online DVD rental firm reported a 34% jump in earnings for the period, but revenue came in on the low side of expectations, and subscriber acquisition costs grew for the period.
