Stocks At Year High (BVF, TKS, EPD, CPX)

Biovail Corporation (USA) (NYSE:BVF) added 3.12% to $21.13 on 5.27 million shares. Tomkins plc (ADR) (NYSE:TKS) today made its new 52-week high of $18.41 and is up 26.75% to $17.58 on 2.98 million shares after it said that it has received a bid worth $4.5 billion from Canadian private equity firm Onex (OTC: ONEXF) and the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board. The takeover attempt is the latest example of North American buyers trying to capitalize on the pound’s weakness to grab British assets.
Enterprise Products Partners L.P. (NYSE:EPD) is trading higher by 0.51% to $37.72 on 1.17 million shares. The stock today made its new 52-week high of $37.95. So far in this year the stock has surged 19%. Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is a North American midstream energy company providing a range of services to producers and consumers of natural gas, natural gas liquids (NGLs), crude oil, refined products and certain petrochemicals. In addition, the Company is engaged in the development of pipeline and other midstream energy infrastructure in the continental United States and Gulf of Mexico.
Complete Production Services, Inc. (NYSE:CPX) today made its new 52-week high of $16.72. The stock is trading at $15.93 after it increased 2.84%. Complete Production Services, Inc. provides specialized services and products focused on helping oil and gas companies to develop hydrocarbon reserves and enhance production. The Company focuses its operations on basins within North America. Complete operates through three business segments.
