Panasonic Adapts New Technology

A leading manufacturer and seller of electronic and electrical equipments,Panasonic Corp. (PC: 13.42 0.00 0.00%) announced the worldwide availability of updated technologies in its new cordless home telephone systems.

The new cordless 2010 series uses a number of advanced technologies such as DECT 6.0 PLUS and Link to Cell Technology.

The cordless 2010 phones offer a variety of features such as call block, silent mode, talking caller id, alarm, battery alert and rubberized grip. These phones also consume less power and support a maximum of six handsets.

The DECT 6.0 PLUS technology enhances the sound quality and transmission for the cordless telephones. This technology improves reception quality by increasing the error-correction rate 80 times as compared with the previous models.

Panasonic is also utilizing a new range extender with the KX-TG4053B model that doubles the transmission range between the base unit and the handset.

Panasonic’s new cordless 2010 phones carry batteries that support 13 hours of talk time as compared with 11 hours due to the Eco Mode technology, which reduces power consumption by the handset when used near the base unit.

Panasonic also stated that Link to Cell technology is available in its KX-TG6582T model, priced at around $99.95. The Link to Cell technology uses Bluetooth technology that allows users to make and receive calls any where in the house by pairing two Bluetooth enabled phones. Calls to either phone will ring on all compatible handsets. The system can be extended to six handsets.

The Link-to-Cell technology ensures that customers without any landline facility can easily make and receive cell calls on home phone handsets without paying any extra charge, through the use of cord-cutters.

With the Link to Cell technology, the users can transfer 600 contacts from their cell to the handset directory.
