French Stocks: Sanofi-Aventis, Partouche, Total, PPR Move

July 1 (Bloomberg) -- France’s benchmark CAC 40 Index fell 55.25, or 1.6 percent, to 3,387.64 at 1:45 p.m. in Paris. The SBF 120 Index declined 1.5 percent.
The following are among the most active stocks traded in France today.
Groupe Partouche SA (PARP FP) dropped 2.7 percent to 2.18 euros. The French casino company reported net income of 5.9 million euros ($7.3 million) for the first six months of its fiscal year and said it remains “cautious” on its full-year outlook.
PPR SA (PP FP) The owner of the Gucci luxury goods brand declined 2.5 percent to 99.98 euros. PPR was downgraded to “neutral” from “overweight” today at JPMorgan Chase & Co.
Sanofi-Aventis SA (SAN FP) fell 1.8 percent to 48.63 euros. France’s largest drugmaker was removed from a list of “top picks” at Barclays Plc.
Total SA (FP FP) declined 1.3 percent to 36.48 euros. Europe’s biggest refiner said a ruling by an appeal court in northern France forcing it to restart operations at its Dunkirk plant won’t affect its plan to close the facility.
Separately, crude oil fell for a fourth day in New York, the longest losing streak in seven weeks.
