Anika Therapeutics comments on patent litigation; had been served with a complaint alleging patent infringement with respect to the MONOVISC
Co announced that they had been served with a complaint alleging patent infringement with respect to the MONOVISC product by Genzyme Corporation (GENZ). This complaint was filed in the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts on July 7, 2010. The company intends to vigorously defend the lawsuit and the MONOVISC product franchise.

CBOT Agriculture and Ethanol and ICE Exchange Sugar Closing Prices
December corn closed 3.5 cents lower at $3.9175 per bushel, November soybeans closed lower by 2.25 cents at $9.51 per bushel, Sept wheat closed 2.25 cents lower at $5.3575 per bushel, August ethanol closed $0.14 lower at $1.581, October world sugar futures closed 0.49 cents up to 17.10 cents.

Crude oil settled lower by $1.14 to $74.95, natural gas shed a penny to close at $4.394, RBOB gasoline finished down 4.09 cents to $2.0291 and heating oil ended off 3.29 cents to $1.9928 (all Aug contracts).
