New Monster Pick***SLAT***

XCEL traded to a new high (90 cents) pre market this morning and we still think the stock will trade to a $1 or higher this week. Watch VNTA this week,we expect big things.

Our news pick is SLAT (Superlattice Power, Inc.) You might remember this one from back in late April when we brought it to you at .30. Two days later SLAT touched .70 for a gain of over 120%. When this stock gets a little bit of volume and momentum behind it, there is usually a strong performance to follow. After really taking another look at SLAT, we feel it is time to put it back on the radar. Here’s why;

The same management team that has taken HYBR as high as 5.00 per share in the lithium battery industry is the same team behind SLAT.

Oil is back around $70 a barrel. As prices for fossil fuel energy continue to rise, consumers and businesses are seeking an alternative way to power their world. Scientists, analysts and automotive executives have agreed that rising fuel costs and environmental concerns will cause the sales of hybrid and electric vehicles to skyrocket, and SLAT has positioned itself to take advantage of the anticipated demand.

After Toyota was extremely successful in introducing the Prius, just about every major automotive maker in the world is pushing towards manufacturing Hybrid cars as an alternative. This will create a huge demand for the lithium battery. Earlier this month SLAT announced that they will be producing their batteries on a larger scale, so we might be seeing SLAT benefiting from this already.

President Obama's signing of the country's economic stimulus plans includes more than $20 Billion in loans, grants and tax credits to help stimulate the development of large-scale domestic production of advanced, lithium-ion batteries for hybrid and electric cars to ease pollution and slowly pull away from dependence on foreign oil. Everything from scooters, bicycles, mopeds, motorcycles, cars and homes are being converted successfully to zero-emission, lithium-powered vehicles and facilities.

SLAT is also engaged in the battery pack design activities in collaboration with EV Innovations Inc. and has a contractual agreement with EV Innovations Inc. to supply the Lithium Ion batteries for their Electric Vehicles.

The time has come to put SLAT back in the spotlight. You must do your research SOON. We feel that this one is set up for a jump north.
